Stephanie A. Vega writes fiction. Her work has appeared in The Threepenny ReviewThe Normal School, and The Cossack Review. Her short story “We Keep Them Anyway” was selected as one of The O. Henry Prize Stories 2018.

Originally from Paraguay, she has lived and studied in the US and the UK. She pursued graduate studies in Economics and Public Policy at Oxford University, UK, with fieldwork in Latin America. 

She holds an MA in Latin American Literature from the University of Delaware and an MFA in Fiction from Chatham University. 

She now lives in London with her family.
